Ginosa Marina is a seaside village along the Ionian Sea, and just a small part of the town Ginosa. It is characterised by a beautiful sandy beach and a wide coast that overlooks the lush pine forests. This forest is part of the protected area Pinete dell’Arco Ionico (Pine Forests of the Ionian Coastline).
Ginosa Marina has been a Blue Flag beach since 1998 and now also a Green Flag beach. The green flag gets awarded to beaches that, according to paediatricians, are suitable for children because they have crystal clear, shallow water that degrades gently, excellent water quality, beach assistance and services designed for and offered to the whole family.
